Sam George Sam George

Sam George is the Director of Azure IoT, responsible for the Azure IoT Suite, Azure IoT Services, and the IoT Device SDK. He has been at Microsoft since 1997 and has spent time in all three engineering disciplines (development, test, and program management). George spent most of his career as a dev manager, dev lead, or developer and in 2011 switched to a program management leadership position. George is responsible for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Internet of Things (IoT) offerings. As a GPM, he is responsible for Microsoft’s developed facing platform offerings, including features and API shape—as well as business and market strategy. His team works directly with customers and top-tier partners to evolve the product.

John Reid John Reid

As Director of Product Technology and Innovation, John Reid is responsible for John Deere’s Global Technology Innovation Network. Reid and his colleagues have jointly developed an Accelerated Innovation Process and Enterprise Technology Process to coordinate the delivery of technology innovations to the marketplace and to build capabilities to support future business growth ambitions. In previous roles, Reid provided enterprise support for John Deere’s technology strategy in automated and unmanned vehicle systems. Reid came to Deere and Company in January 2001 after a 14-year career at the University of Illinois. Reid’s expertise includes machine vision perception, controls, and hardware-in-the-loop design. Previously, Reid served as a consultant to agricultural and food industries in their effort to deploy advanced technologies into precision agriculture and systems automation. Reid has received 25 patents and has published more than 200 papers, including 65 refereed journal articles.

Dr. Johannes-Joerg Rueger was appointed as President, Commercial Vehicle and Off-Road at Bosch on Jan. 1, 2016. In this position, he is responsible for sales and system engineering for all market segments of commercial vehicle and off-road customers worldwide. Since joining Bosch in 1997, Rueger has held numerous positions with increasing responsibility in different areas of the Bosch organization in Germany, Austria, and in the U.S. His technical background is mostly powertrain and electronics development. Rueger earned degrees in electrical engineering and economics and a doctorate in engineering from the University of Dortmund.

Tony Zambito Tony Zambito

In 2008, Tony Zambito joined Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) to start up the Road Machinery Business Line’s new Project Office. In 2015, he assumed the role of Global Director of the Compaction Product Platform. Zambito collaborated with the North American Compactor and Paver teams to develop a shared vision of success with a strategy that would leverage the rich competence existing within each team. He now serves as Vice President of the Compaction Product Platform. Before joining VCE, Zambito was with Ford Motor Co. for 19 years, where he held various positions within design, engineering, and management. Zambito holds an associate’s degree in automotive design from Macomb Community College, a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from University of Detroit Mercy, and a master’s in systems design and management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
