Overview

SAE 2009 Digital Human Modeling for Design and Engineering Conference & Exhibition
June 9 - 11, 2009
Radisson SAS, Gteborg, Sweden

Dear Colleague,

I am personally inviting you to join me in Gteborg, Sweden at the SAE 2009 Digital Human Modeling for Design and Engineering Conference. DHM is the annual meeting for human simulation and modeling and an opportunity for you to learn the latest about the technology and tools shaping the future of design and engineering.

Our hosts for this year's conference, VTI and Chalmers University of Technology, also welcome you to Gteborg a city known for the relationship between industry and academia. A high degree of engineering competence and technological development - Ericsson, SKF, Volvo - have ensured the industrial community in Gteborg remains competitive worldwide both in research and development.

At the SAE 2009 Digital Human Modeling for Design and Engineering Conference, a particular focus will be on companies that aren't yet using human simulation but where the application areas exist and the benefits are obvious. There will be a special design application session for potential users that are not using digital human modeling tools as yet but are interested in the applications and wish to learn more about the technology and how to get started.

Other session topics include:

  • Anthropometry
  • Cognition and Perception
  • Posture and Comfort
  • Design Processes
  • Product Interface
  • Task Simulation
  • Dynamics & Impact

A warm welcome to the Swedish west coast! I look forward to seeing you at the SAE 2009 Digital Human Modeling for Design and Engineering Conference.

Regards,
