Location: North Ballroom 120 AB Objective: Illuminate the challenges, issues, risks and required actions for ensuring we maintain a strong national industrial base. Abstract: Government and Industry leaders must work together to successfully shape and preserve a balanced national industrial base to meet our national security and warfighter requirements. Sustaining our new, state-of-the-art and aging legacy weapon systems as well as producing and integrating highly advanced software-intensive weapon systems requires an agile, effective, efficient, and flexible industrial base capability. Within the context of the current global security environment and the broad range of conflicts and scenarios we face, selected leaders will discuss their vision, approach, and strategy to ensure the strength of the national industrial base in the current constrained fiscal environment.
