Welcome

Dear DoD Exhibitor:

The DoD Team welcomes you as an exhibitor to the 2011 DoD Maintenance Symposium and Exhibition. We look forward to helping make this event a rewarding experience for you and your company.

After careful consideration it has been decided that the only alcoholic beverages that will be served on the exhibit floor will be those served by convention center catering staff during show management sanctioned receptions. The catering menu provided in this exhibitor manual does not include alcoholic beverages of any kind. For interactions with clients and attendees, exhibitors may buy additional drink tickets in advance for their use.

This manual contains all of the forms and information that you will need to prepare for the event. We encourage you to use the manual not only for the preparation of your exhibit display, but also for a source of reference, information and checklist. To execute forms from this manual, simply locate the forms that are pertinent to your needs, print, complete, and fax to the number identified on the forms. Retain those faxes for future reference. Please feel free to call the individual vendors directly with any questions you may have. Vendor phone numbers are listed on the forms. You can also place orders directly with the decorator, George Fern Exposition & Event Services, via the internet. The link for ordering on line with George Fern Exposition & Event Services can also be found in the Exhibitor Manual.

Companies must submit their booth design for Show Management approval. Show rules state that plans must be submitted prior to the opening of the exhibition. The purpose of reviewing plans is to make sure the display is within the rules and regulations for booth construction. Should a problem be found, it is easier to correct the display while it is still in the design stages than to try and modify the display while it is being erected. We look forward to receiving your booth plans. Please fill out the "Booth Approval Form" listed in the manual under "Event Details." Photos are always very helpful. Please submit the form to Kathy Belles at SAE kbelles@sae.org; phone-1-724-772-4072; fax-1-724-772-4041. Booth designs for DOD are due to show management (Kathy Belles) October 1, 2011. ***Please note- consider your booth approved if you do NOT hear from show management.

If your exhibit space or booth contains a vehicle or an exceptionally large piece of equipment, please contact show management.

Please refer to the Exhibition Information portion of the manual for additional information and instructions.

We want to make your participation in this year's event both successful and enjoyable. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact us.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE! SAE International neither endorses nor sponsors FAIR-Guide or its publishers. Anyone desiring to sign with FAIR-Guide should carefully read their agreement to ascertain what they think they will be receiving in return for their money.
