The IEEE-VPP/SAE-FTT joint conference site is on the campus of Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago. A shuttle service will run a continuous �-hour loop between the Hyatt Regency Hotel (main entrance, East Tower on Wacker Drive) and the conference site on the campus of IIT. If you stay at another hotel, you must go to the main entrance, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Wacker Drive to take the shuttle or go to the conference site at IIT directly by taxi, public transportation, or car.

You can arrive in Chicago via two major airports including O'Hare and Midway and the downtown area is located approximately 15 and 10 miles from each airport, respectively. Taxis, trains, and shuttles are all available to transport you to the hotel. Continental Air Transport provides affordable, reliable transportation services between O'Hare and Midway airports and all locations in downtown Chicago.

Directions to the Hyatt Regency Hotel:
From O'Hare International Airport (15 miles): Take Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) East to Ohio St. exit. Proceed on Ohio to Michigan Ave. and turn right. Turn left on Lake St., then turn left on Stetson St. From Midway International Airport (10 miles): Take Cicero Ave. North to Stevenson Expressway (I-55) Northbound to Lake Shore Drive North. Exit at Randolph/Wacker Drive, follow Wacker Drive signs, proceed up the ramp and Hyatt will be on the left.

Map and Direction to Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT):
Traveling to IIT is easy. Take a look at our map and directions to get oriented. The Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) demarcates the western boundary of IIT and is two blocks west of the State-33rd intersection. Coming from the north or the south on I-94, you can take the 31st or 35th Street exit. There are two landmarks visible from the freeway: a red-brown building on the east side, which houses administrative offices of IIT, and the White Sox Stadium on the west side. About 10 blocks to the east of State Street is Lake Shore Drive, which has an exit for 31st Street. Lake Shore Drive is the recommended route for reaching downtown Chicago to the north of IIT.

The conference will be held in IIT's Campus Conference Center including Hermann Union Building (HUB), 3241 South Federal Street, Chicago, Illinois 60616-3793, and McCormick Tribune Campus Center, 3201 South State Street, Chicago, Illinois 60616-3793. McCormick Tribune Campus Center is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of State and 33rd Streets. State runs north-south and 33rd east-west. To the east of the intersection is an elevated CTA train line (Green Line) running north-south.

Parking:
Please visit http://www.parking.iit.edu/ for IIT's parking map. You can park in the visitor parking lots, such as A4 (there are parking meters). You can also park on the street. Check the NO PARKING hours. The southbound (west) side of State Street does not permit parking during afternoon rush hours.
