HDDEC Logo and Map The hotel is ideally located on Gothenburg's main street, Avenyn, and directly across from the Landvetter Airport Bus Stop. It offers two popular restaurants and an English-style pub.

Park Aveny Café, with its impressive wine selection, specializes in modern versions of Scandinavian classics. The Bishop's Arms serves traditional pub fare, while Restaurant Locatelli offers a continental menu and late night bar. Elite Park Avenue Hotel's modern, air-conditioned rooms and have satellite TV.

Free leisure options include a gym and a spa area with a sauna and small relaxation pool. Massages and other treatments can be booked separately. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Elite Park Avenue is just 200 meters from Gothenburg Art Museum and the City Theatre.

On Sundays guests can enjoy breakfast until 12:00 and check-out until 18:00, except during summer and Christmas periods

Terms of Cancellation

Hotel cancellations are accepted only by e-mail, not by telephone. Send to Anna.Skoglund@elite.se
Cancellations will be individually charged as follows:
Every cancellation will be charged 100 SEK.
Cancellation less than 2 weeks before arrival will be charged with 100% of the cancelled nights together with the cancellation fee of 100 SEK.

Traveling to the Elite Park Hotel

Airport Bus - www.flygbussarna.se
The easiest way to travel from the airport is using the airport bus. You can pay by credit card or buy a ticket at the airport. The bus from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport stops immediately outside the Elite Park Avenue Hotel. Travel time to/from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is approximately 20 minutes, depending on the traffic situation. The airport bus from Gothenburg City Airport (also called Säve Flygplats) stops at the "Nils Ericsson" terminal/ Central station. Change to tramway - see above. Travel time from Gothenburg City Airport is approximately 25 minutes.

Taxi
A special rate is also available using Taxi Gothenburg. Special hotel rate is 422 SEK from Landvetter Airport to the hotel and 380 SEK from City Airport to the hotel.

Car
If travelling into Gothenburg from the North or East via E6, E20 or E45, exit at the junction "Örgrytemotet" - follow road signs "Mässan", "Scandinavium" and "Liseberg". The exit involves a number of consecutive turns - right, left, right, left and right at the traffic lights before you are on the main road passing the Liseberg amusement park on your left and the Hotel Gothia Towers on your right. Keep in the right lane and continue in a turn right at the "Korsvägen" square and roundabout. Switch to the left lane and turn left after the "Scandinavium" arena (big orange building on your right) follow the "Götaplatsen" road signs. Continue straight on through the next big crossing and you will reach the main square "Götaplatsen" where you turn right into the "Kungsportsavenyn". Elite Park Avenue Hotel is 50m down the street on your right.

If travelling from the south on the E6 or arriving from east on the E40, exit at the junction "Örgrytemotet" and follow road signs "Gårda". After the first traffic light, stay in the left lane and follow "Mässan", "Scandinavium" and "Liseberg" signage. As you continue, you will pass the Liseberg amusement park on your left and the Hotel Gothia Towers on your right. Keep in the right lane after the hotel and continue in a turn right at the "Korsvägen" square and roundabout. Switch to the left lane and turn left after the "Scandinavium" arena (big orange building on your right) follow the "Götaplatsen" road signs. Continue straight on through the next big crossing and you will reach the main square "Götaplatsen" where you turn right into the "Kungsportsavenyn". Elite Park Avenue Hotel is 50m down the street on your right.

Hotel Parking

There are parking spaces right outside Elite Park Avenue Hotel for embarking and disembarking. The reception will be pleased to help you to park your car in an adjacent garage.

Tram-ways

From the central railway station, take westbound tram line numbers 3, 4 or 7 and disembark at the "Valand" stop which is closest to Elite Park Avenue Hotel. The hotel is 300m up the "Kungsportsavenyn" street.

Travel to and around Göteborg

With two international airports Gothenburg have a range connections with destinations around the world. Both Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg City Airport is conveniently located close to the center. Airport buses operate both airports and the trip takes about 20-30 minutes.

Air
  • Landvetter, Sweden's second largest airport with over four million passengers annually to approximately 100 destinations. The airport is located about 20 km from Gothenburg.
  • 15 km from Gothenburg,at Hisingen, is City Airport. The airport is served by Ryan Air, Wizz Air and Gotlandsflyg.

Things to See and Do in Gothenburg

If you are planning a lot of sightseeing, it may be a good idea to get a Gothenburg Pass. This card provides free parking, free travel on trams, buses and ferries, as well as free admission to several museums and the Liseberg amusement park. It is available from the tourist information centre.
