2001 International Conference on Lightning and Static Electricity

History of the SAE International Conference on Lightning and Static Electricity (ICOLSE)

ICOLSE offers a charged and very focused audience of 200 aerospace decision-makers, primarily (R&D) personnel, combined with the power of design/development engineers and engineering management in recommending purchasing decisions.

ICOLSE addresses, but is not limited to, topics such as: phenomenology, airworthiness, regulations and standards, field penetration, direct and indirect effects, atmospheric environment, airframe and airport protection, computational methods, electrostatics, lightning interaction and zoning, and operations flight experience.

Industry representation is highly specialized in the areas of electo/mechanical systems, and electronic sub-systems manufacturers and suppliers along with a strong military and commercial airframe development influence.
