The SAE 2008 Motorsports Engineering Conference and Exhibition (MSEC) is going back to it's roots with a focus on technical information that will be useful to the working technicians, engineers and engineering managers. The technical program has been defined by individuals working in the sport, is being organized by industry professionals and is designed to deliver high quality, usable information.

Abstracts are submitted on-line via the SAE website. Upon submission, you will receive an automatic reply with your paper number and the critical deadline dates for the event.
The following information will be required during the on-line submission process:
- A digest of 200 to 300 words (English) that states the objective of the paper, outlines the problem requiring solution, or method of approach to research; is explicit with respect to the type of data to be included; and summarizes the conclusions to be made, and states the competitive application in racing. Any preliminary material, such as diagrams, charts, data, curves, test results, photos, etc., should also be submitted with the abstract.
- Tentative title
- Name of the author and co-authors. Author and co-author, business affiliation, mailing address and telephone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses.
- Selection of one session code listed.
Offered papers shall not have been published elsewhere; and if accepted, contributors will not release their paper for publication through other media.
Paper acceptance will be based on peer review of draft manuscripts.
