Director, Vibro-Acoustics Solution
ESI Group Chad Musser is Product Manager for ESI’s Vibro-Acoustic products, including the flagship full-frequency VA One software and is responsible for the overall strategy and coordination of the Vibro-Acoustics division. Musser previously worked in vehicle NVH development focusing on SEA simulation, test planning, and model validation at BMW in Munich and Ford in Michigan. Prior to joining ESI Group, he spent 14 years as a mid- and high-frequency SEA specialist and acoustic scientist, including eight years as Director of Automotive Acoustics at Cambridge Collaborative, where he developed and led projects with a significant on-site component at automotive and aerospace companies in the U.S., Germany, Japan, the U.K., and Brazil. He holds bachelor's degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in mechanical engineering and music as well as master's degrees from MIT in mechanical engineering and ocean engineering. Toyota Technical Center USA Inc. Steve Sorenson has worked in automotive, commercial vehicle, and consumer/industrial product noise and vibration test and development for his entire professional career at both the OEM and supplier level. He is active in technical committees and conference organization for both SAE International and INCE-USA. He works at Toyota Technical Center, Ann Arbor, MI, on vehicle noise and vibration development for current and future vehicles.
