Optimizing Powertrains -- Future Improvements through Controls Symposium

It’s proven to help lower emissions, improve fuel efficiency, and transfer more engine power to the road – that’s why powertrain control technology plays an important role in our world today.  As petroleum prices escalate and future emission regulations become more stringent, optimizing the performance of powertrains is continuing to gain momentum.  This unique symposium will delve into the control technologies needed for the engine designs of the future.

A completely re-vamped program, this symposium offers more topics concerning diesel and hybrid technology, with new speakers who are experts in their areas and represent some of the world’s foremost specialists.  Useful information will be provided for newcomers as well as to those who are working in the field and wish to update their overall knowledge of powertrain controls.

Partnering with Politecnico di Torino, SAE International is pleased to offer this new symposium in Turin, Italy – headquarters of Fiat, IVECO and GM’s Diesel Center.

Online assemblies of SAE Technical Papers, focused on a specific topic or technology, designed for the individual with a specific research need.
