H1N1 Flu Virus (Swine Flu) and SAE International Events

At this time, no SAE International conference or event has been cancelled because of the H1N1 Flu Virus. SAE International will continue to monitor information from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization regarding this virus and any potential travel implications. As of now, there are no travel restrictions. For the latest information about the H1N1 Flu Virus, along with a checklist of symptoms and treatment, and how to best minimize risk, visit the Web site of the World Health Organization or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

SAE seminars are one to three-day short courses on a broad range of topics that address relevant technologies, engineering tools, and management techniques. All seminars are applications-oriented and emphasize an interactive, hands-on style to provide direct job-relevance.

Engineers teaching engineers is another key attribute of SAE Seminars. Whether they're practicing engineers, retired engineers, or university faculty, all instructors come to the classroom with content expertise, industry experience, and on-the-job know how.

You will also network with peers from leading companies in the United States and in many cases, from around the world.

All seminars are approved for IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and for the professional engineer, Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Certain seminars are approved for Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

All courses include an extensive learning manual of slide reprints and course notes.
