The SAE 2008 All Wheel Drive Symposium organizing committee invites you and your organization to participate in this biennial international event as a presenter, demonstrator, exhibitor, and/or sponsor. This event offers manufacturers and their customers alike an opportunity to hear the latest research from industry experts, visit product displays, and network with colleagues and the press.

The AWD Symposium will be held August 20 - 21, 2008. There will also be a training seminar on the day prior to the symposium, and a Ride and Drive on the day after the symposium, both at an additional cost. Attendees can expect to drive over a dozen vehicles, provided by OEMS and suppliers, demonstrating AWD capabilities over numerous test surfaces, including wet and dry handling courses and off-road events.

The AWD Symposium will be made up of 45-minute oral only presentations. Offers will be considered from experts from OEMs, suppliers, universities, research facilities and government agencies. All accepted presentations will be gathered prior to the event and handed out on site only to those who attend in person. Speakers are required to provide the presentations in advance so the handout can be printed and delivered to the symposium.

Those interested in presenting may submit an abstract for review by the Organizing Committee. This abstract should be 300-400 words in length and include title, authors, organizations, and contact information. Please submit abstract by e-mail to John Miller at SAE at jrmiller@sae.org.

Abstract deadline: May 2, 2008
