Optimizing Powertrains - Improvements Through Electronic Control Systems
November 4-6, 2008
St. Anthony Historic Hotel
San Antonio, Texas, USA
Skyrocketing fuel costs along with stringent emissions and fuel economy standards in both gasoline and diesel vehicles direct the continued development of a symposium on Optimizing Powertrains.
This symposium will enable attendees to understand and apply new strategies for optimization of powertrain systems. The use of the latest tools and approaches from the industry will be covered, allowing attendees to benchmark their own experience and understanding. Specifically, attendees will receive technical information and experiences focusing on power systems and controls, modeling and design approaches, diesel engine engineering, critical success factors in calibration along with Hybrids and other challenges. Attendees will also be offered an opportunity to take a technical tour and participate in hands-on activities and hear about implementation and case studies of electronic control systems from leading experts in the industry.
SAE International is pleased to offer this symposium in San Antonio, TX - headquarters of SwRI.
