Due to the economic climate and high number of uncertainties in the marketplace, a business decision was made to cancel the onsite activities originally planned in Phoenix, AZ, for the VTMS 9 Conference. A proceedings of all of the papers will be published and sold through SAE�s Customer Service, to be available at the end of September. Thermal System Efficiency Summit
Understanding the current economic constraints of costs and time away from the office, this one day summit will offer a snap shot of the thermal management issues pressing this industry today. Topics including coolant choices, emissions, power consumption and fuel economy will be selected for both standard and alternative powertrains such as hybrids and fuel cells. In addition to the presentations on hot topics of the day, a panel discussion will be featured entitled, �Vehicle Thermal Challenges for a Greener Environment.� A proceedings of papers presented and others on related topics will also be made available to attendees of this summit.
