2009 JetToy Olympics Registration is Closed

The JetToy Olympics offers students, teachers and volunteers who have participated in the A World in Motion - JetToy Challenge an opportunity to come together and share what they have learned through their experience. The JetToy Olympics is set up as a friendly competition where students (in Engineering Design Teams of 4) compete in distance, accuracy, weight carrying and timed events. SAE International hosts this yearly competition through the gracious sponsorship of Johnson Controls.

2009 marks the third year of the JetToy Olympics. Over the past three years, the JetToy Olympics has grow from a small event in 2007 hosting 28 enthusiastic students to a much larger crowd of 286 students and 78 volunteers in 2007. The 2009 JetToy Olympics is scheduled to grow to include 500 students with teams from South Eastern Michigan, Washington DC and Pune, India. If your school is interested in participating in the event please visit www.awim.org and click on the JetToy Olympics Registration link. Specific event information can be found below or by contacting Chris Ciuca cciuca@sae.org.
