Outstanding Younger and Senior Member Nominations Requested from Sections

Table of Contents

A letter will be sent to all section chairs and treasurers this month, soliciting section nominations* for Outstanding Younger and Outstanding Senior Members. Younger member candidates must be 37 years of age or younger, and must have made significant contributions to their local section. Senior member candidates must be 65 years of age or older, and must have made significant contributions to their local section.

Candidates in both Younger and Senior categories who are selected as Outstanding are automatically entered into a pool to be considered for selection as Distinguished Younger and Distinguished Senior Members. The four Distinguished recipients in each category are selected by the Sections Board each year in September.

Do you have individuals in your section or group who meet these critieria? Why not take a few moments to complete a nomination form and recognize them for their efforts!

For more information about the Younger and Senior Member award programs, or to get a nomination form, please contact Claudia Ross ross@sae.org or Brian Taylor brian@sae.org at SAE Headquarters 1.724.772.7139.

*Note: Watch for the letter and accompanying forms. Nomination forms will be due back to SAE by March 5.
