ASA/IAQG MOU Press Release
January 17, 2011 -- The IAQG is pleased to announce we have entered into a working agreement with the Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA) and have collectively signed a Memorandum of Understanding commemorating our relationship. The organizations will coordinate resources and activities to avoid duplication of effort and increase speed of implementation of processes used by global aviation, space, and defense companies.
ASA is the industry leader in the accreditation of Aviation distributors and has been recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the database manager / administrator of the Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program.
The goal of our working together is improving the top to bottom performance of the global supply chain within the aviation, space, and defense industry.
This alliance will strengthen our ability to fulfill the IAQG mission to "Achieve significant performance improvements in Quality, Delivery, and consequently Cost on all products and services throughout the value stream". It will allow us the opportunity to benefit from ASA's expertise, and collectively support common projects/initiatives for the betterment of the Aviation, Space, and Defense Industry.
