Nanocomp Technologies has been awarded two new Small Business Innovation Research contracts by the USAF. The first contract is the next step toward commercialization of lightweight CNT wiring as a replacement for copper in air vehicles; the second is a new project, deemed “critical” by the U.S. Department of Defense, to develop CNT material for electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding in aircraft.
