Suitable for high-temperature renewable-energy applications, the two-phase cooling system from Parker Hannifin safely and efficiently manages the heat of high-power electronics. Precision electronics cooling system technology gives electronic design platforms up to twice the power density in half the space. The maintenance-free system can decrease the size of a wind turbine’s power system or extend the range of a hybrid vehicle. Using a vaporizable dielectric fluid, the system boils fluid across the base of the silicon chip, converting it to gas and stabilizing the system’s high temperatures, nullifying cooling limits of water-based systems. The technology is also suitable for industrial and military applications.
