Bombardier Aerospace selected Lufthansa Technik to develop the all-composite Learjet 85 aircraft’s cabin management system (CMS). The digital, Ethernet-based CMS and in-flight entertainment system will integrate all passenger entertainment and cabin environment management functions in a single system. The Learjet 85 aircraft’s customized version CMS will feature a high-capacity Ethernet network with a digital amplifier to feed the high-fidelity speaker system and an interface to support the aircraft cabin environment including lighting and temperature control.
