AC Schnitzer’s type VIII multipiece forged racing wheel is based on the design of the company’s type VI wheel. The three-piece product’s five double-spoke design is cast and forged with a machined inner star and a spoke frame held in anthracite. With the wheel’s visible bolted connections to the wheel bed, the multipiece nature is highlighted. The outer and inner rim beds consist of flow-formed forged metal. Despite all of its detail, the type VIII’s simple lines, says the company, provide a masculine, athletic appearance. AC Schnitzer features 22-in rims for the BMW 7 Series (F01/F02) and BMW X5/X6. The type VIII wheel also comes in sizes 11.0J x 23-in and 12.0J x 23-in to suit the BMW X5/X6.
