Designed for industrial and construction-site applications, GammaTech RT10 series tablet PCs meet military standards for durability and offer a rugged, sealed design that guards internal components and makes the tablet watertight and drop-, spill-, shock-, and dust-proof. The touchscreen RT10 series features a high-resolution 10.2-in LCD display with backlighting as well as support for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and runs on Windows 7 Professional, Vista Business, and XP Table Edition operating systems. Other features include an ac power connector, two USB 2.0 ports, an ethernet port, smart card reader, and optional GPS and docking station. Compact RT10 tablets offer a mass of 5 lb (2.3 kg) for improved carrying. The lithium-ion battery provides life up to 6 h, and the series is available in two models with differing processing speeds.
