Mentor Graphics' Inflexion user interface (UI) technology is now integrated with the GENIVI Alliance-compliant Mentor Embedded in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) base platform. The inclusion of the Inflexion UI tool with the Mentor IVI base platform enables automotive OEMs and their suppliers to develop rich, customized 2-D and 3-D human machine interfaces (HMI)—including touch-screen capabilities—within the automotive workflow for automotive systems. The Inflexion UI product allows developers to more quickly implement their HMI using a drag-and-drop approach via the Inflexion UI Express PC tool and then run this UI on an efficient and powerful engine. Available on Android, Linux, and Nucleus operating systems, the Inflexion UI tool is also portable to a range of other operating platforms.
