The automated AIT Flex Track system with fastener insertion from Advanced Integration Technology (AIT) is able to drill, countersink, feed the fastener, apply sealant, and install the fastener at the point of use, reducing manual labor and improving hole quality when compared to previous versions. Based on the Flex Track automated drilling system, the flexible AIT system adds an automated feature to install the fastener. The system is lightweight enough to be portable, provides a smaller footprint, and is suitable for use in a clean factory environment.
