Bringing down a helicopter safely with little or no ground sight is a challenging scenario. ESG has developed the SeLa landing aid based on advanced radar sensors and low-light-level cameras. This system has a reach of up to 60 m and measures the altitude with a precision of 30 to 40 mm.
