The DCS1800 and DCS1600 high-performance recording video borescope systems from General Tools & Instruments offer over 15 probe options, including various types, diameters, lengths, and viewing angles. Both enable the inspection of engines, cooling systems, and other inaccessible areas without disassembly, reducing vehicle down times. The borescopes are suitable for various transportation equipment maintenance and repair applications, including diagnosing chassis, suspension, transmissions, and brakes; inspecting engine components; and accessing HVAC systems. A 1-m (3.28-ft) flexible, waterproof camera featuring a depth field of 10 to 300 mm (0.4 to 12 in) and four adjustable white LEDs is standard. A 3.5-in (89-mm) color monitor offers real-time viewing with a removable 2 GB SD card for recording; the DCS1800 has a wireless range of up to 10 m (33 ft).
