World Wide Metric offers CAST SpA hose and hose fittings. The hydraulic hose range includes SAE 100R1AT and R2AT, with standard and high temperatures available, and SAE 100R16 with multispiral capabilities. A thermoplastic hose range offers hose to SAE 100R7 and Teflon hose to SAE 100R14. Steel hose fittings are plated Chromium VI-free and feature resistance to corrosion in excess of 400 h in a salt spray fog. Stainless-steel fittings are also available for the complete range.

MTS Sensors’ M-Series Model MH Temposonics magnetostrictive linear-position sensors are designed for improving safety and versatility, increasing reliability, and reducing service costs for position-sensing applications in rugged environments encountered by construction, agriculture, and other off-highway machinery. The MH CAN bus output stainless-steel position sensor is designed for use in welded and tie-rod style cylinders or any space-limited cylinder application. Suitable for a range of standard hydraulic cylinders with diameters of 50 mm (2 in) or larger, the sensor consists of a robust sensor head with built-in electronics; pressure-proof sensor pipe to house and protect the internal sensing element; and a position magnet mounted on the piston that travels along the stationary sensor tube. Noncontact by design, the sensor system also features a 100 g shock and 25 g vibration rating and can be fully sealed and embedded in a cylinder for improved operating life.

The Lee Company’s miniature calibrated IMH insert orifices are designed for both liquids and gases. According to the company, the 2.5- and 5.5-mm (0.098- and 0.216-in) diameter cartridge-style orifices are the smallest, self-retained flow restrictors available, and they are designed to provide more accuracy than a drilled hole. Accuracy is confirmed by 100% flow testing to ensure that every orifice is within ±5% of its nominal flow rate. Constructed of stainless steel, the IMH insert orifices are available in a range of flow rates with orifice sizes as small as 0.002 in (0.05 mm). Some models are offered with an integral safety screen. Lee’s controlled expansion principle offers simple installation, providing retention and creating a leak-tight seal that prevents bypass leakage.

Other features include a holding torque over 2.1 times the rated torque capacity, mounting flexibility, sliding spline operating technology for resilience to shock loads, elimination of external and internal bypass leakage, corrosion resistance, and equal displacement. The T20 Series is available in three sizes with torque output ranging from 2083 to 5000 lb•ft (2825 to 6780 N•m ) at 3000 psi (210 bar).
