Dromone Engineering’s multilock coupler was designed to improve safety and allows operators to complete attachment changes without leaving the cab. The compact, heavy-duty coupler can be used with a range of machine types from 6 to 100 ton (5.9 to 98.4 t). Both front and rear attachment pins are mechanically locked and hydraulically released. The attachment can be disengaged only in the crowned position with the bucket cylinder fully extended. Both attachment pin locks are visible to the operator during the working cycle, and a cab control system requires three stages to release the attachment while offering visual and audible warnings in the release position. Position-activated check allows opening only in transport, and buckets can be attached in normal or back-face position.
