Buehler Motor has integrated steel planetary gears for high-torque and high-load applications into its current motor lineup. The steel planetary gears are available in combination with the company’s portfolio of dc and brushless dc motors with diameters of 42, 52, and 62 mm (1.7, 2.0, and 2.4 in). Developed in partnership with IMS Gear, the Buehler motor-gear combinations are designed for demanding applications that require high torque transmission as well as high standards in terms of maximum working life under high loads, such as drives for material handling, agriculture, and windows and doors.
