Northrop Grumman recently opened enhanced facilities at its Remotec site in Coventry, U.K., to support its full range of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), including the Wheelbarrow bomb disposal robot and CUTLASS, the next-generation vehicle for hazardous operations in development for the U.K. Ministry of Defence. The enhancements include improved design and manufacturing facilities and a new training and demonstration area. Northrop Grumman's UGV business has been established in Coventry for more than 20 years and has more than 2000 UGV systems in operation around the world.
