The Torino Chamber of Commerce promotes automotive industry development in Italy and worldwide. The Chamber highlights eco-sustainable urban mobility vehicle development, powertrain technologies, and the introduction of Infomobility and management of safer transportation systems and intelligent traffic. One focus area is Phylla, an electric high-performance vehicle with solar and hydrogen fuel cells and intelligent systems for traffic, parking, and public transportation and their integration with the vehicle's telecommunication platform. TTW is an emerging personal commuting vehicle 1-m (3.3-ft) wide but with regular automotive vehicle safety standards. TTW combines car comfort with the maneuverability of a motorcycle. Features include active tilt and steer driving with a plug-in hybrid electric powertrain, natural gas combustion engine, integrated vehicle dynamics, structural optimization, and crash-proof safety. The vehicle is claimed to be safer than motorbikes and scooters but smaller and lighter than any car.
