Mikrosens’ MS16070A is a small-format, analog, uncooled infrared image sensor. With a low-power, low-noise sensor readout circuit, the device provides an NETD value below 250 mK. According to the company, the MS16070A features a price point at a fraction of existing solutions, enabling automotive electronics system manufacturers to design low-cost thermal imaging camera cores. This technology enables many applications in the area of mobility electronics. As an example, night vision systems used only in high-end segments can now be extended into lower-end segments.
