Supercritical Fluid Technologies’ SFT-100XW Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) system enables the extraction of fluids in a supercritical fluid media for laboratory analysis, teaching, and process development applications. Dual sapphire syringe pump technology pressures the stainless steel vessel, which can contain fluids at pressures up to 10,000 psi. The device accommodates pressure vessels of up to 500 mL and may be configured to run with multiple vessels. Large processing vessels enable the user to extract very low levels of key components from materials or to process larger amounts of bulk material than would be possible with conventional, analytical scale SFE equipment. A preheater ensures consistent temperature of fluid delivered to the extraction vessel.
