J.R. Merritt’s rugged CS3HD joystick was designed from the company’s CS3 joystick and provides a Hall-effect sensor in a compact, heavy-duty package. The unit is available with 1-, 2- or 3-axis control, as well as with various standard and custom options, including a twist third axis with spring return to center. The 10-mm (0.4-in) diameter operating shaft and internal mechanism make the device compatible with the company's FG-5 universal hand grip, offered for left- or right-hand operation. The FG-5 includes a longer barrel for operators with large hands or gloves, and a removable face plate can be configured with a combination of buttons, thumbwheels, rocker switches, and toggles. The CS3HD joystick and FG-5 universal grip are suitable for operator control in on- and off-highway industrial vehicles.
