Endevco model 8530C series from Meggitt Sensing Systems is offered in 15, 50, and 100 psi (1, 3, and 7 bar) ranges with corresponding high resonance frequencies of 180, 320, and 500 kHz. The rugged series offers 225 mV full-scale output and a nonlinearity specification of less than 1%. Other features include a four-arm strain gage bridge diffused to a sculpted silicon diaphragm for sensitivity and frequency response as well as a compact 3.86-mm (0.15-in), 2-3 g (0.08-oz) package. Volume is both evacuated and glass-sealed to provide absolute reference. Temperature is compensated from -18° to +93°C (0° to +200°F), and the series is suitable for the testing of wind turbines; hydraulic and pneumatic systems pressure; vehicle transmission performance; and high-speed train and light rapid transit system laminar airflow.
