Meggitt Sensing Systems’ Endevco piezoelectric accelerometers feature integral iTEDS (transducer electronic data sheets) for larger channel count lower-frequency vibration measurements—including transmission testing, ride quality, NVH, and component durability testing—and vibration monitoring of heavy machinery and equipment. Models 752A12 and 752A13 are low-noise, low-weight, single-axis Isotron accelerometers available in sensitivities of 100 mV/g and 1000 mV/g, respectively. Both incorporate a piezoelectric crystal sensing element, operating in annular shear mode to allow low base strain sensitivity. A compact 13-g (0.5-oz) size minimizes mass loading effects; accelerometers require no external power source for operation and are shipped with low-noise cable and mounting studs for installation.
