The SEAsure depth compensator from Tobul is designed for offshore drilling and applications requiring high-strength performance and seawater resistance. SEAsure uses undersea pressure to compensate for installation depth by allowing seawater into the fluid port, applying pressure to the internal bladder discharged through the transfer coupling to the pressure operated directional (POD). Used to ensure hydraulic power to activate actuators and motors, PODs, and gate valves for flow control of oil and gas to the surface or to other subsea locations, Tobul accumulators feature high-strength alloys and compounds for reliability and longer service life. Designed for 1500 psi (103.4 bar) and 2.5 to 15 gal (9.5 to 57 L), the SEAsure compensator can be configured with carbon or stainless steel with up to four fluid ports.
