Meggitt Sensing Systems’ Endevco model 65 triaxial Isotron accelerometers support the rigorous demands of aerospace reliability testing. For example, to test jet engine fuel control module reliability, each module must be tested for vibration on a shaker, simulating actual use conditions, as well as evaluated for continued performance with fuel flowing through the unit. For this type of requirement, the accelerometers installed on the modules simultaneously measure their reaction to controlled vibration inputs across three orthogonal axes. The devices feature sensitivities of 10 mV/g and 100 mV/g, with ±500 g and ±50 g measurement ranges, respectively.
