DELO Industrial Adhesives offers adhesives for bonding industrial displays and touch panels. Suitable applications include large-area displays in industrial, automotive, and aircraft interior applications. The optically transparent adhesives improve the readability of displays in direct sunlight and increase ruggedness. Disturbing reflections from surroundings are reduced by bonding the glass cover directly to the LCD using an index-matched adhesive. The adhesives combine softness and high optical transparency with adhesion and yellowing resistance as well as properties unified to allow curing of shadowed areas. Displays are processed in short cycle times with light curing, and then the adhesive completely cures through a reaction with air humidity at room temperature, preventing further curing steps. When bonding components, display durability and resistance to shock and vibration are improved.
