For critical manufacturing process monitoring requirements, Kistler introduces the Type 9129A three-component system designed to offer high-precision measurements of cutting tool machinery forces up to 8 kN when turning outside and inside turret lathe diameters. The modular Type 9129A system consists of a dynamometer with corrosion-resistant construction impenetrable to coolants and four three-component force sensors with outputs passed to a nine-way flange socket. The force sensors are mounted between the cover plate and two lateral base plates to minimize temperature errors and displacement, while ground isolation prevents electromagnetic interface and ground loop interference from compromising integrity. Compatible with industry disk-type turret cutting tool machinery, the Type 9129A is a suitable multicomponent force measurement device and mounts without accessories directly on a flat base plate.
