The Type 2516B from Kistler is a rugged, handheld engine peak meter designed to support the balancing and diagnostics of large natural gas, marine, and diesel engine cylinder pressure cycles at speeds up to 4000 rpm with onsite data evaluation and time-based combustion pressure measurement capabilities. Features include a portable, user-friendly design; USB communication port; rechargeable battery and charging station; and a rugged, waterproof case. Included data evaluation software permits graphical analysis of recorded peak pressure and plotted average curves with downloadable results. Type 2516B can measure and store data from up to 100 large engine combustion pressure cycles, calculating and displaying values such as average, minimum, and maximum peak pressure; peak pressure standard deviation; and maximum rate of pressure rise.
