Dr. Prasad Kadle

Dr. Prasad Kadle is the Director of Advanced Engineering at Delphi Thermal Systems in Lockport, New York. Renowned for his work in the field of heat transfer, Kadle began his career at General Motors in 1984 after completing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Over the years, he has made significant technical contributions in the development and implementation of a wide range of automotive heat exchangers and powertrain cooling systems, as well as comfort heating and cooling systems for motor vehicles. His numerous accomplishments have earned him 68 distinct U.S. and international patents. Additionally, he twice earned the GM and Delphi "Boss" Kettering Award for inventions pertaining to automotive condensers and evaporators and is one of only 30 Platinum Level inductees in the Delphi Innovation Hall of Fame.
Dr. Kadle was also the 2013 recipient of SAE International's Edward N. Cole Award for Automotive Engineering Innovation. This award honors an SAE member whose innovative design is described in an SAE paper or whose lifetime of accomplishment is judged to be a significant achievement in automotive engineering.
