Auction of 2012 Hyundai Genesis will Benefit SAE Foundation, Student Learning
WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 6, 2011 - In a bid to help support students’ education, Hyundai has donated a 2012 Genesis, 5.0-liter, V8 R-Spec Model to the SAE Foundation to be auctioned off via eBay Motors beginning Oct. 31.
The seven-day auction will be open to the public and all proceeds will benefit the SAE Foundation, which helps to support SAE International’s math and science education programs, such as: A World In Motion®, Collegiate Design Series and undergraduate engineering scholarships.
The 2012 Genesis features Hyundai’s most powerful Hyundai engine ever with 429 horsepower. Other features of the vehicle include:
· Unique R-Spec sport transmission, suspension and steering calibrations
· 19-inch alloy wheel design with premium machined finish
· More aggressive grille and front fascia design
· New headlight design with LED accents and daytime running lights
· Sportier rocker panel design
