Olsen, an SAE Fellow, was manager of engine engineering at the John Deere Product Engineering Center. He was a charismatic leader who was successful in attracting top engineering talent and mentoring them. His protégés have been very successful throughout the off-highway industry.

Klenk began his career with Allison Transmission in 1970. He began as a systems analyst in commercial data processing, but advanced quickly. In his 34-year career, he has held the titles of General Supervisor of Systems and Procedures, Manager of Materials and Production Control, Director of Materials and Production Control, Director or Defense Programs, Director of North American Sales, and, currently, Director, Off-Highway Transmissions and Hybrid Electric Drive. He is known to his colleagues as an avid listener to the voice of the customer, and has been instrumental in planning, developing, gaining management approval, and implementing programs that enhance durability and/or improve performance of Allison Off-Highway transmissions. He is also recognized as a mentor, whom individuals seek out for advice and counsel.

Klenk holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management (honors) from Purdue University.
