SAE International Committee Chair Lisa Boran Talks about Seeking Best Practices in Automotive Cyber Security

SAE International’s Vehicle Electrical Systems Security Committee establishes best practices that help designers ensure that system architectures are made secure from unwanted breaches.

Lisa Boran, who chairs the committee’s SAE Automotive Security Guidelines and Risk Management team recently talked with AutoBeat Group for a Viewpoint article to talk about the group’s activities. Boran is an in-vehicle security expert and Security Attribute Leader at Ford Motor Co.
