SAE/JSAE 2016 Small Engine Technology Conference & Exhibition Features Diverse Range of Special Events for Attendees

WARRENDALE, Pa., Sept. 7, 2016 - SAE 2016 SAE/JSAE 2016 Small Engine Technology Conference & Exhibition, announced the extensive list of special events offered during the 2016 show from November 15-17 in Charleston, SC. Including the Technical Tour and Wednesday Evening Banquet, these special events provide participants with opportunities to further their knowledge alongside fellow industry members.

Dates and programming highlights for the Special Events are as follows:

The Technical Tour will be held on Monday, November 14 departing from the Embassy Suites at 9 am. The tour will include stops at the Robert Bosch NA plant, Boeing South Carolina Final Assembly Tour Balcony and Cummins Technical Center Charleston. Separate registration is required for the tour which includes lunch and transportation.

Wednesday Evening Banquet on November 16 at 6:30 PM provides an opportunity to network with industry peers. The banquet will be held at the Southend Brewery & Smokehouse which features a unique menu and is one of Charleston's most haunted places. Guests will also be entertained, and likely astonished, by award-winning illusionist Carl Michael, and many will leave with a unique candy sculpture handcrafted by Shan the Candy Man. Separate registration is required for the banquet.

In addition to these special events, the SAE/JSAE 2016 Small Engine Technology Conference & Exhibition offers an outstanding technical program which will address problems and solutions for meeting emission regulations posed on the small engine segment. The program will feature the Tuesday Opening Ceremony and keynote address with Jaal B. Ghandhi from Univ. of Wisconsin Madison, Victor W. Wong from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Hiroshi Ito from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. Also not to be missed is the Plenary Panel: Towards Safer and More Sustainable Small Engines and Applications.
