Brooke Joins SAE International Magazines Group

WARRENDALE, Pa., Nov. 15, 2005 - Automotive journalist Lindsay Brooke will serve as SAE International’s Senior Editor for its Magazines group. He is based in SAE’s Automotive Headquarters in Troy, Mich.

Brooke’s primary responsibility will be to expand coverage for Automotive Engineering International, SAE’s flagship monthly publication. In addition, he will contribute to SAE’s Off-Highway Engineering and Aerospace Engineering magazines.

“Lindsay brings 25 years of award-winning writing and reporting experience to our global editorial team,” Kevin Jost, SAE International’s Editorial Director, said. “His overall industry knowledge and keen interest in new-vehicle, component, materials and process technologies are assets we will utilize to deliver improved editorial content to our readers.”

Brooke joins Kami Buchholz, SAE’s Detroit Editor, in helping SAE Magazines increase its coverage of the automotive industry in southeastern Michigan and elsewhere.  Prior to joining SAE, Brooke was senior manager at CSM Worldwide, a leading auto industry forecasting and analysis firm, and formerly was editor-in-chief of Automotive Industries magazine. He is a two-time recipient of the American Business Press’s annual Jesse H.
