Job Receives SAE Technical Standards Board Outstanding Contribution Award
WARRENDALE, Pa., Dec. 20, 2005 - Richard Job, a retiree from AGCO Corp., has been selected to receive SAE International’s Technical Standards Board Outstanding Contribution Award.
The award, established in 1953, recognizes individuals for outstanding service in technical committee activities of the society.
Job has dedicated his 42-year career to the advancement of the agricultural, construction and power machinery industries. He spent the past 15 years as an engineering manager at AGCO Corp., where he was responsible for assuring that the appropriate safety standards were applied to tractors in the North American market. Job is a 40-plus year member of SAE International and three-time chairman of the SAE Kansas City Section. He is also a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and works on several agricultural and commercial vehicle committees.
Job holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University. He currently resides in Liberty, Mo.
