NSBE Executive Director to Deliver Keynote Address at SAE Commercial Vehicle Congress Banquet

WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 23, 2006 - Carl Mack, executive director of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), will address the 2006 SAE International Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress & Exhibition Banquet set for Wednesday, Nov. 1.

NSBE is the world's largest student-managed organization.

"The opportunity for our members to hear the NSBE’s future view of engineering is critically important as we move forward," Herb Kaufman, SAE International’s Director of Commercial Vehicle Business and Chief Technology Officer, said. "Both the NSBE and SAE International play key roles in shaping our young students and positioning them for success as they prepare to enter the workforce."

The SAE International Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition is set Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont (Chicago), Ill. The event attracts industry professionals -- including engineers, suppliers and manufacturers -- from both the truck and off-highway sectors.

In addition to an exhibition of vendors showcasing the latest commercial vehicle products and technology, the 2006 SAE Commercial Vehicle Congress will include a global CEO panel, several topic panels and a full technical program.
