Lubrizol Corporation Executive honored with this year's
John Connor Environmental Award

5, 2005) - Kevin Brown, assistant technology manager for Engine Control Systems (a division of the Lubrizol Corporation) has received the 2005
SAE John Connor Environmental Award. Brown was presented with the award at the SAE Environmental Excellence in Transportation (E2T) Award - 2003 Winners'
Project Presentations on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 during the Society's World Congress event.
This award recognizes the accomplishments of an individual to promote the environmental vision of SAE, both within and outside of the Society. It was
established in 2001 to bring to the forefront the ever-changing environmental challenges that face manufacturers, suppliers and professionals in the global
transportation industry.
Brown is a previous recipient of the SAE McFarland Award and has served as chairman of the SAE Diesel Engine Committee, as well as a member of the Fuels
& Lubricant and Powerplant activities. He also serves as an officer and member of the Board of Directors for the Manufacturers of Emissions Control
Association (MECA) in Washington D.C. Brown has authored several publications and holds several patents in the field of diesel emissions control and catalyst
production. Brown is a graduate of MacMaster University and the University of Guelph.
